Origins and culture
The vanilla is a spice constituted by the fruit of some tropical mesoamerican region orchids "climbing plant" of type VANILLA
The plants which produce the vanilla have them the same the vanilla or sometimes vanilla plant name
Culture and preparation of the vanilla require, to get a richly aromatic spice, long and attentive care.
The vanilla comes in the form of black and shining sticks, commonly called "pods"
The name vanilla derives from shone Spanish " vainilla " even coming from Latin "Vagina" which also gave vagina and means scabbard, pod or case.....
Flexible and not much ramified, the vanilla creeper develops by growth of the final bud, leaves are arranged in an alternate way of every quoting of the stem.
They are glide, whole, oval with the pointed end, about three times as long that open seas and measure up to 15 centimetres.
The stem and leaves are green.
The white, greenish flowers, or yellow pale, have the classical structure of an orchid flower.
Put together by 8 or 10, they form small bunches in the armpit of leaves.
Pods just picked and still odorless have a diameter from 8 to 10 millimetres; they contain thousands of tiny seeds.
